If a faucet only trickles during a freeze, leave it open and look for an accessible frozen section of pipe. Warm the pipe gradually with towels soaked in hot water or a hair dryer used safely in a dry area. Never use a torch, open flame, or fuel heater on plumbing. Check other faucets because more than one pipe may be affected.
